The trail takes you toward the top of Atalaya Mountain, a 9,121-foot peak. The first few miles of the trail are <br />
relatively easy, but it becomes increasingly steep and strenuous as you near the summit. Plan on carrying your bike <br />
a good bit of the way, but the view is worth it! Once at the top, you can come back down the way you came or <br />
keep going north to join in with the Dale Ball South trail network.
The Atalaya Mountain parking lot is at the entrance to St. Johns College.
